Elastic earns AI Security distinction in AWS Security Competency

July 20, 2026 10:30 AM

Elastic (NYSE: ESTC) announced it has received the AI Security distinction within the Amazon Web Services Security Competency, a designation that recognizes the company has met AWS technical and quality requirements in AI security and threat detection and response.

The distinction acknowledges Elastic's platform, which combines security information and event management (SIEM), extended detection and response (XDR), and AI-powered detection tools. The platform integrates with several AWS services, including Amazon GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub, AWS CloudTrail, Amazon Inspector, and Amazon Bedrock.

"Achieving the AI Security distinction in the AWS Security Competency reinforces Elastic's approach to enabling organizations to safely operationalize AI at scale," said Mike Nichols, general manager of Security at Elastic. "Organizations building AI need security that keeps pace with rapidly evolving threats."

Elastic's security platform uses detection content from Elastic Security Labs mapped to the MITRE ATT&CK framework. For organizations using Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, Elastic provides security coverage for risks associated with agentic AI systems.

The AI Security distinction adds to Elastic's existing AWS Competency portfolio, which includes designations in Security, Data and Analytics, Financial Services, Government, AI, and Education. Elastic is also a participant in the AWS ISV Accelerate Program and the AWS ISV Workload Migration Program, and holds AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner status.

Elastic is available through AWS Marketplace and is deployable across supported AWS regions.
