Stellantis names new CEOs for Ram and Jeep brands
Stellantis (NYSE: STLA) has appointed two automotive executives to lead its Ram and Jeep brands, according to a company statement released July 20, 2026.
Matt VanDyke has been named CEO of Ram brand, effective July 20. He most recently served as President of Shift Digital, a digital marketing firm serving automotive brands. Prior to that role, he was CEO of FordDirect and held several positions at Ford Motor Company, including head of U.S. Marketing, VP Marketing for Ford of Europe, and head of Global Marketing, Sales and Service for Lincoln.
Branden Coté has been named CEO of Jeep brand, effective August 3. He brings roughly two decades of experience in OEM and dealer retail operations. Most recently, he served as Brand President at AutoNation. He has also held leadership roles at Aston Martin Lagonda, Canoo, and Mercedes-AMG/Mercedes-Benz USA.
Both executives will report to Tim Kuniskis, head of American brands, North America marketing and retail strategy for Stellantis North America. Kuniskis had been serving in a dual capacity, overseeing Ram brand alongside his broader role since July 2025. VanDyke's appointment ends that arrangement.
Coté replaces Bob Broderdorf, who has led Jeep since February 2025 and is taking medical leave. Stellantis said Broderdorf will assume a new leadership role within the company upon his return.
"Matt and Branden are proven leaders who will build on our successes and take these iconic American brands to the next level," Kuniskis said in the statement.
The appointments are described as part of CEO Antonio Filosa's strategy to assemble experienced executives to support the company's growth plan.
