July 20, 2026 9:01 AM

Expensify, Inc. (Nasdaq: EXFY) has made its Expensify Visa® Commercial Card available to businesses in the UK and select European markets, including Spain, Ireland, Poland, and the Netherlands, according to a company statement.

The card offers real-time transaction visibility, automated receipt matching, spending controls, and VAT tracking. It also supports virtual cards for single-use or time-limited purchases and integrates with accounting platforms including QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, and Sage Intacct.

Businesses can connect GBP, EUR, or US bank accounts with no minimum balance, deposit, personal guarantee, or credit check required. Settlement can be set on a daily or monthly basis, and there are no foreign transaction fees.

David Barrett, founder and CEO of Expensify, cited a US customer case in the announcement: "One of our US customers, Pivot Bio, cut down on their expense report audit times by 90%."

Teams that use the card for business spending qualify for up to 50% off their Expensify subscription. The European launch is described as part of a broader global expansion that also includes a "Bring Your Own Cards" program supporting corporate cards from more than 10,000 banks worldwide.

The card is issued by Transact Payments Malta Limited for EEA customers and by Transact Payments Limited for UK customers, both under license from Visa Europe Limited.
