VivoPower names Syed Muhammad Nouman as group finance director

VivoPower PLC (NASDAQ: VIVO) has appointed Syed Muhammad Nouman as Group Finance Director, effective July 20, 2026, according to a press release from the company.

Nouman, a Fellow Chartered Accountant, will serve as the company's Principal Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer for SEC reporting purposes, a role ratified by VivoPower's Audit Committee.

Nouman has more than 17 years of finance and accounting experience, beginning his career at PwC. His background includes audit and risk management, IFRS and US GAAP reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and global tax management. He has held senior roles at multinational companies in the oil and gas, real estate, automation engineering, and hospitality sectors.

In his new role, Nouman's responsibilities will include group financial control and statutory reporting, public company reporting in line with Nasdaq, SEC, and UK Companies House requirements, enterprise financial planning, working capital management, and support for corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising.

VivoPower, listed on Nasdaq since 2016, operates data center and powered land infrastructure in Norway, Finland, and the United Arab Emirates.
