July 20, 2026 6:30 AM

Parsons Corporation (NYSE: PSN) has been awarded a $33 million contract by the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) to deploy a statewide Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO) software system, according to a company statement.

Under the contract, Parsons will deploy its iNET® intelligent transportation software platform across NYSDOT's 11 districts. The scope of work includes system design, software development, integration, testing, and operations and maintenance services. The contract also covers replacing central processing unit cards for more than 6,000 traffic signal controllers statewide.

The platform is intended to centralize operations into a single statewide view and strengthen coordination across districts. Parsons describes the deployment as an enterprise-level integration of freeway and arterial advanced traffic management systems.

"Parsons brings deep advanced traffic management system experience, proven software, and a regional team that understands New York's transportation priorities," said Mark Fialkowski, president of Infrastructure North America for Parsons.

The company said the New York award adds to existing statewide deployments of its iNET® platform in Georgia and New Jersey, and builds on prior district-level work it completed in New York.
