Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (NASDAQ: FFAI) said its first EAI Data Factory customer has expanded its order to cover tens of thousands of data hours, more than ten times the volume of the original order, with a potential near-term value exceeding $400,000, according to a weekly investor update from founder and Global CEO YT Jia.

The company also said it has received an indication of interest for a pilot order from a company it described as ranking among the top 20 in the data industry, though no binding agreement has been disclosed.

Faraday Future said its EAI Robotics unit participated in three robotics and AGI summits in Silicon Valley, where the company said its sales teams connected with potential customers and industry partners. The company also noted that developers from Stanford and UC Berkeley have joined its developer platform to co-develop what it calls Skills, Agents, and industry productivity solutions.

A robotics education summer camp held for students from the Lynwood and El Segundo school districts in California has concluded. Participants engaged in modular programming, Python-based robot control, robot racing, and exterior design activities.

Jia's update outlined the company's third-quarter robotics deployment plans, including advancing AI brain model training, expanding its robot device lineup, and completing general-purpose teleoperation software that would allow a single operator to control multiple robot models.

The company said it plans to seek independent financing for its robotics business and attract medium- to long-term financial and strategic investors, though no specific terms or timelines were provided. Faraday Future's forward-looking disclosures note the company currently lacks sufficient share capital to meet obligations and execute its strategy, and faces risks including Nasdaq compliance requirements and going concern uncertainties.
