Dare Bioscience faces Nasdaq delisting over equity deficiency

July 17, 2026 4:10 PM

Dare Biosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: DARE) received a notification from Nasdaq's Listing Qualifications Staff on July 13, 2026, stating that the company no longer complies with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(b).

According to the company's Form 10-Q for the period ended March 31, 2026, stockholders' equity fell below the required $2.5 million threshold. As of July 13, 2026, the company also did not meet the alternative compliance standards, which require either $35 million in market value of listed securities or $500,000 in net income from continuing operations.

As a result, Dare Biosciences' common stock is subject to delisting from Nasdaq. The company stated it intends to request a hearing before a Nasdaq Hearing Panel, which would stay any suspension or delisting at least until the panel issues its decision and any extension period expires.

The company noted in a statement that there is no assurance the panel will grant an extension, that compliance will be regained within any such period, or that the company will retain its Nasdaq listing.
