Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced sells 3M copies in a week
Vantage Studios, a Ubisoft company, announced that Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced sold more than 3 million copies in its first week following its July 9 release, according to a press release statement.
The game recorded 2 million copies sold on its first day. Steam user reviews have moved to "Very Positive" since launch. Ubisoft attributed the improving reception in part to post-launch updates, including bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. The company also announced a New Game+ mode for the title.
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is a remake of the 2013 game Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, rebuilt using Ubisoft's Anvil engine. The game was led by Ubisoft Singapore, with contributions from multiple co-development studios across Ubisoft's global network.
The title is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC via the Ubisoft Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, as well as through the Ubisoft+ subscription service, priced at $17.99 per month.
