Galaxy Digital Inc. (Nasdaq: GLXY) has signed a 15-year naming rights agreement with Texas Tech University to rename its football stadium Galaxy Stadium, beginning with the 2026 season.

The deal, announced July 17, 2026, will see the stadium — previously named after Texas Tech's third president, Clifford B. Jones — carry the Galaxy name starting with the Red Raiders' Sept. 5 home opener against Abilene Christian. Texas Tech said it plans to announce separately how it will honor the Jones family legacy.

Under the agreement, Galaxy will become the official data center and digital assets partner of Texas Tech Athletics. The partnership also includes Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) opportunities for student-athletes through branded campaigns and original content. Galaxy's branding will extend to men's and women's basketball programs through digital, social, and in-game features.

"Texas Tech is exactly the kind of institution we want to be aligned with," said Mike Novogratz, Founder and CEO of Galaxy. "At our Helios campus in nearby Dickens County, we're building the infrastructure that powers the code economy."

Galaxy operates its Helios data center campus approximately 60 miles east of Lubbock in Dickens County, Texas, with 1.6 gigawatts of approved capacity for high-performance computing. The company said Texas Tech graduates are currently employed at the Helios facility.

Texas Tech Athletics Director Kirby Hocutt said the partnership "will have a lasting impact on Texas Tech Athletics."

The agreement was facilitated by Texas Tech Athletics Partners, the local Learfield team and exclusive multimedia rights holder for Texas Tech Athletics sponsorships. Learfield Executive Vice President Andrew Wheeler described the deal as going "well beyond traditional sponsorship."

Texas Tech plans to hold an official celebration event during the upcoming football season.
