SL Science Holding Limited (NASDAQ: SLBT) presented preclinical research on a gamma delta (γδ) T-cell therapy for glioblastoma at the 2026 World Congress of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (WCP 2026), held July 12–17 in Melbourne, Australia, according to a company statement.

The research was conducted in collaboration with Taipei Medical University, JY Biomedical Co., Ltd., and HeXun Biosciences Co., Ltd. The study examined the use of expanded γδ T cells administered directly to tumor sites in preclinical models.

Key findings from the preclinical data included complete tumor elimination by day 26 post-treatment at the highest tested dose, which used an 8:1 ratio of immune cells to cancer cells. The research also showed dose-dependent tumor suppression and reported no major safety concerns or adverse effects in health screenings and blood panels conducted during the study.

Glioblastoma is a form of brain cancer that commonly resists surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy, and frequently recurs after initial treatment.

The findings remain at the preclinical stage and have not yet been evaluated in human clinical trials.
