Lightspeed Commerce Inc. (NYSE: LSPD) announced a set of product updates for its retail and hospitality platforms, adding AI-powered tools, payments automation, and multi-location management features.

On the retail side, Lightspeed launched an integration with marketing platform Klaviyo that syncs customer, sales, and product data in real time to automate personalized communications. The company also introduced an AI Blog Builder that generates SEO-optimized content and an AI section generator embedded in its website editor. Lightspeed Scanner now surfaces cross-sell recommendations at checkout using 90-day basket analysis data. A new omnichannel customer portal lets shoppers view order history and manage loyalty points across in-store and online channels. NuORDER, Lightspeed's wholesale network, added a Brand Sales Overview dashboard consolidating order, revenue, and sales representative performance data.

For hospitality operators, Lightspeed added AI-driven insights accessible through natural language queries in the back office, allowing operators to generate charts and pin reports. A new Locations Manager feature enables multi-venue businesses to share menus and sync item updates across sites from a single dashboard, with additional capabilities planned for future updates. Lightspeed Payments now automates reconciliation for hospitality businesses, accounting for tips, split checks, chargebacks, and tip adjustments. A new booking widget for Lightspeed Reservations allows guests to book directly through a restaurant's own website.

"From simplifying daily operations and improving sales visibility, to creating faster checkout experiences and streamlining fulfillment across channels, these innovations are designed to help our customers move faster, operate smarter, and deliver great customer experiences with confidence," said Dax Dasilva, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lightspeed.

The announcement, based on a company press release, highlights Lightspeed's continued investment in its payments infrastructure, including saved payment methods, pre-authorization, and automated reconciliation introduced over the past year.
