Rocket Companies secures $2.5 billion revolving credit facility
Rocket Companies (NYSE: RKT) entered into a new revolving credit agreement on July 16, 2026, with an initial aggregate commitment of $2.5 billion, maturing on July 16, 2029.
JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. serves as administrative agent for the agreement. The company said proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
Borrowings under the agreement are unsecured and will bear interest at a base rate, which may include a term SOFR rate, plus an applicable margin. The agreement also requires the company to pay a commitment fee on unused commitments, determined by its corporate credit rating.
The credit agreement includes financial maintenance covenants requiring Rocket Companies and its subsidiaries to stay within specified net leverage and corporate net debt ratios at the end of each fiscal quarter, and to maintain minimum liquidity and tangible net worth.
The agreement also restricts the company's ability to incur additional debt, create liens on certain assets, pay dividends or make distributions on capital stock, and enter into certain affiliate transactions. A change of control is listed among the customary events of default.
If the company fails to meet its obligations under the covenants or an event of default occurs, revolving loan commitments may be terminated and any outstanding borrowings, along with accrued interest, could be declared immediately due and payable.
