GRAIL, Inc. (Nasdaq: GRAL) announced a collaboration with Priority Health, a Michigan-based nonprofit health plan, to make the Galleri multi-cancer early detection (MCED) blood test available to Priority Health's self-insured employer groups.

Priority Health, which serves more than 1.4 million members across Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio, previously launched Galleri coverage in its Thrive and Thrive Plus Medicare Advantage plans in 2025. The expansion makes Priority Health the first Michigan health plan to offer the test to employer groups, according to the companies.

The Galleri test screens for more than 50 cancer types using a blood draw and is designed to detect cancer signals before symptoms appear. The test requires a prescription and is recommended for adults aged 50 or older with elevated cancer risk. It has not been cleared or approved by the Food and Drug Administration and was developed under CLIA certification.

"By partnering with GRAIL, we're making it easier for employers to support early cancer detection and proactive health," said Chase Osbourne, senior vice president of employer solutions and innovation at Priority Health.

Megan Hall, PhD, vice president of Medical Affairs at GRAIL, said the collaboration gives the company an opportunity to expand market access for the test while working with Priority Health on employer benefit offerings.

GRAIL is headquartered in Menlo Park, Calif. Priority Health is the second-largest health plan in Michigan and the third-largest provider-sponsored health plan in the nation.
