Arcutis adds Mirum Pharmaceuticals CEO Chris Peetz to its board

Arcutis Biotherapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARQT) announced the appointment of Christopher "Chris" Peetz to its board of directors, effective July 15, 2026, according to a company statement.

Peetz currently serves as co-founder and chief executive officer of Mirum Pharmaceuticals, a position he has held since the company's founding in 2018. He also serves as an entrepreneur-in-residence at Frazier Life Sciences.

Prior to Mirum, Peetz was chief executive officer of Flashlight Therapeutics, Inc. and previously served as chief financial officer and head of corporate development at Tobira, which was acquired by Allergan plc. He has also held roles at Jennerex Biotherapeutics, Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Abgenix, Solazyme, and LaSalle Corporate Finance, a part of ABN AMRO. He also served on the board of directors of Alpine Immune Sciences until its sale to Vertex.

Peetz holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BSBA from Washington University in St. Louis.

Arcutis is a commercial-stage dermatology company focused on inflammatory skin diseases and markets the ZORYVE (roflumilast) topical franchise across several dermatological indications.
