Hub One picks Ribbon Communications PSX for call routing
Ribbon Communications Inc. (Nasdaq: RBBN) announced that Hub One, a French telecommunications operator and digital technology integrator, has selected Ribbon's PSX Policy and Routing Engine as the core call routing engine for its voice traffic.
Hub One, a subsidiary of AƩroports de Paris SA and part of Groupe ADP, operates France's largest private professional 4G/5G network and serves more than 5,000 customers across more than 10 regional offices, with over 600 employees.
Ribbon's PSX is a centralized policy and call routing engine that enables priority assignment, admission control, least cost routing, quality of service routing, toll-free number routing, and number translation services. The product also provides call validation services to mitigate call spoofing and robocalls, and uses a distributed deployment model designed to provide resiliency across large networks.
Khalid Oudassi, deputy head of infrastructure at Hub One, said the PSX platform connects disparate elements of Hub One's communications environment, including unified communications, private 4G/5G, contact center, and SIP trunks.
Christian Erbe, head of EMEA Sales at Ribbon, described the deployment as an expansion of the existing relationship between the two companies.
