Intapp launches Celeste AI platform for professional firms

July 15, 2026 4:06 PM

Intapp (NASDAQ: INTA) announced the general availability of Celeste, an AI product aimed at automating business workflows for professional firms in regulated industries such as law, private capital, investment banking, and accounting.

Celeste, which was previewed in February, is designed to handle firm-level processes including deal screening, conflicts clearance, business development, and lateral hiring. The product operates using each firm's own data, methods, and compliance rules, including ethical walls and need-to-know restrictions.

The platform uses firm-specific "playbooks," which are multi-step automated workflows built from a firm's existing practices. A no-code builder allows teams to create additional playbooks. Celeste connects to a firm's internal systems of record and external data partners through open connectors.

Early adopters include law firm BakerHostetler and private capital firm Hg. Katherine Lowry, Chief Information Officer at BakerHostetler, said the product "will help us responsibly take on matters and evaluate conflicts faster than ever before." Shirin Veeran of Hg said Celeste "screens against our actual mandate, drawing on knowledge we have built across the firm over two decades."

Intapp co-founder and Chief Product Officer Thad Jampol said: "When a conflicts team can clear 10 times the matters and a fund can screen 10 times the deals, that's not saved time — that's a new business model."

Intapp describes Celeste as part of a product category it calls "Firm AI," distinct from individual productivity tools or practice-specific AI. The company said the product maintains a full audit record of every action for review by clients and regulators.
