Kimball Electronics, Inc. (Nasdaq: KE) has begun rebranding to Kimball Solutions, with its Jasper and Indianapolis, Indiana facilities completing the first phase of the transition effective July 1, 2026.

The company said the name change reflects an expanded range of services beyond electronics manufacturing, including design engineering, supply chain management, precision plastics, and full product assembly. Kimball serves the medical, industrial, and automotive markets.

"Kimball Solutions better represents who we are today and where we are going," said Richard D. Phillips, Chief Executive Officer. "While our heritage in electronics manufacturing remains strong, our customers increasingly rely on us for more comprehensive, end-to-end solutions that solve complex challenges across industries."

The rebrand will roll out across remaining global facilities on a staggered schedule. China and Mexico locations are expected to transition in January 2027, followed by Poland, Romania, and Thailand in July 2027. The full corporate entity name change is targeted for July 1, 2027, subject to approval by shareholders. Facilities in Tilburg and Pune, acquired through the recently announced Helvoet acquisition, will transition at a separate pace.

The company stated that customers, suppliers, and partners should expect no disruption to operations, contracts, or day-to-day interactions during the transition period.

Kimball Electronics is headquartered in Jasper, Indiana, and operates facilities in the United States, China, India, Mexico, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, and Thailand.
