Eos Energy reports record Q2 2026 revenue of up to $69M

July 15, 2026 8:16 AM

Eos Energy Enterprises (NASDAQ: EOSE) released preliminary financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, reporting expected revenue of $68 million to $69 million, which the company said would represent its highest quarterly revenue to date, driven by a more than threefold increase in shipments compared to the prior-year period.

The company said revenue recognized during the first half of 2026 surpassed its total revenue for all of 2025. Despite the revenue milestone, Eos reported a preliminary gross margin loss of between 69% and 73% for the quarter, which it attributed in part to start-up costs and lower initial production volumes associated with the launch of Battery Line 2 at its Thorn Hill facility in mid-June.

Backlog reached approximately $807 million as of June 30, 2026, a company record and an increase of approximately 25% from the prior quarter. Total cash, including restricted cash, stood at approximately $364 million, with roughly $78 million in customer collections received during the quarter.

The company also reported completing Site Acceptance Testing for 50% of its bipolar automation line, with full commissioning of all bipolar machines expected in July 2026.

"We expect to deliver record quarterly revenue and record backlog, demonstrating that the investments we have made in our manufacturing platform continue to translate into stronger topline and commercial performance," said Joe Mastrangelo, Chief Executive Officer.

Eos said it will release full second quarter 2026 financial results before U.S. markets open on August 5, 2026, followed by a conference call at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time. The preliminary figures remain subject to finalization pending completion of quarter-end closing procedures and audit committee review.
