July 14, 2026 5:15 PM

Cardiovascular Logistics (CVL), a cardiology management services organization based in Nashville, Tenn., announced the appointment of Gary M. Kirsh, M.D. as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, according to a press release dated July 14, 2026.

Dr. Kirsh has served on CVL's Board of Directors since November 2025. He is the co-founder and former CEO of Solaris Health, which he built into a urology management services organization comprising 1,000 providers across more than 250 practice locations in 14 states. Solaris Health was acquired by Cardinal Health (NYSE: CAH) in November 2025 for approximately $2.4 billion.

Dr. Kirsh practiced urology for three decades and has held leadership roles at several professional organizations, including the Large Urology Group Practice Association, the American Association of Clinical Urologists, and the Ohio Urologic Society. He has testified before state legislatures and the U.S. Congress on healthcare policy.

"CVL has built something rare in healthcare — a national platform of premier cardiology practices that have come together without losing what makes each of them exceptional," Dr. Kirsh said in the statement.

CVL founder David Konur is transitioning to Chairman of CVL's Board of Directors. Konur founded CVL in partnership with Lee Equity Partners in 2023 following a 24-year tenure as CEO of Cardiovascular Institute of the South. CVL currently supports approximately 440 cardiovascular providers across seven states.
