Trinity Capital to move listing from Nasdaq to NYSE on July 27
Trinity Capital Inc. (NASDAQ: TRIN) announced plans to transfer the listing of its common stock to the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and NYSE Texas from the Nasdaq Stock Market, according to a press release.
The company expects to begin trading on the NYSE on or about July 27, 2026, retaining the ticker symbol "TRIN." Its common stock will continue to trade on Nasdaq under the same symbol through the close of trading on July 24, 2026.
Two of the company's Fixed Rate Senior Notes due 2029 will also transfer to the NYSE and NYSE Texas. The 7.875% Notes due March 2029, currently trading under the symbol "TRINZ," will move to the new symbol "TRNZ." The 7.875% Notes due September 2029, currently trading under "TRINI," will trade under "TRNI." Both are expected to begin trading on the NYSE on or about July 27, 2026.
CEO Kyle Brown said the transfer "highlights Trinity Capital's commitment to creating long-term shareholder value." Chris Taylor, Chief Development Officer of NYSE Group, said Trinity Capital's "leadership in alternative asset management and expertise across private credit markets make them an outstanding addition to our world-class community of financial institutions."
Trinity Capital, headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, describes itself as an alternative asset manager focused on private credit markets. The company states it has deployed more than $5.7 billion across over 470 investments since its inception in 2008, as of March 31, 2026.
