Arrow Electronics (NYSE: ARW) has earned the Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop specialization, a credential that validates a channel partner's knowledge and experience in deploying, scaling, and securing virtual desktop infrastructure on Azure, according to a press release.

To earn the specialization, channel partners must meet criteria around customer success and staff training, and pass a third-party audit of their Azure Virtual Desktop technical practices. The achievement follows Arrow's attainment of the Infrastructure and Database Migration to Microsoft Azure specialization in 2025.

Andrew Smith, general manager of partner program management at Microsoft, said, "Arrow Electronics clearly demonstrated that they have both the skills and the experience to offer clients a path to transition to desktop-as-a-service in a scalable, secure, and cost-effective way."

Sophie Daval, global director of public cloud for Arrow's enterprise computing solutions business, said the specialization "reinforces our commitment to supporting channel partners in delivering modern workplace solutions that drive productivity and security."

Arrow reported $31 billion in sales for 2025. The company is headquartered in Centennial, Colo.
