Telos Corporation (NASDAQ: TLS) has been selected again by the Hawaii Department of Transportation to provide Aviation Channeling Services for worker vetting at five state airports, according to a press release from the Ashburn, Virginia-based company.

The contract covers Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport at Keāhole, Hilo International Airport, Kahului Airport, and Lihue Airport.

Telos has partnered with Hawaii's airports since 2018, supporting Transportation Security Administration regulatory requirements through the processing of Security Threat Assessments, Criminal History Records Checks, and Rap Back enrollments for airport workers and authorized personnel.

The company's Aviation Channeling Services platform supports biometric and biographic data submission, Rap Back enrollment, and compliance management for airport badging offices through a web-based system.

"Airports face increasing demands to balance security, efficiency and customer service," said Tam Phan, VP of vetting services at Telos. "We are honored to continue our partnership with the Hawaii Department of Transportation to support its airport credentialing and vetting operations."

Telos claims to have been the first third-party channeling provider approved by the TSA when it launched Aviation Channeling Services in 2012. The company states it currently serves more than 100 airports, airlines, and aviation organizations across the United States.
