IceCure Medical expands U.S. sales team after 70% install base growth
IceCure Medical Ltd. (Nasdaq: ICCM) has expanded its U.S. sales and marketing teams, adding personnel in New York, Southern California, and the Midwest, along with additional clinical support staff, according to a press release dated July 14, 2026.
The expansion follows a previously reported 70% growth in the company's active U.S. commercial install base for its ProSense® cryoablation system, which the company attributed to FDA marketing authorization received in October 2025, clinical guidelines, and physician demand.
ProSense® is a liquid nitrogen-based cryoablation system used to destroy tumors by freezing. Procedures are now being performed in Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Memphis, among other locations.
"We are pleased with the strong traction and increasing momentum we are experiencing in the U.S. market. We continue our commercialization efforts in order to raise awareness of our innovative cryoablation treatment and make it available to patients in additional territories and regions," said Chief Executive Officer Eyal Shamir.
IceCure Medical, headquartered in Caesarea, Israel, markets its ProSense® system in the U.S., Europe, and Asia for the treatment of breast, kidney, bone, and lung tumors.
