Veritone renews Pac-12 content licensing deal for new 9-member conference

July 14, 2026 8:02 AM

Veritone, Inc. (NASDAQ: VERI) has renewed its exclusive global content licensing agreement with the Pac-12 Conference in a multi-year deal, according to a company press release.

Under the agreement, Veritone will continue managing global content licensing for the Pac-12's video library using its Commerce DMH platform to index, display, and facilitate transactions with third-party licensees. The deal covers historical archives and current-season content, with footage available for use in digital highlights, editorial and documentary features, advertising campaigns, and scripted entertainment.

The renewal coincides with a restructuring of the Pac-12, which re-launched with nine full-time members. Founding members Oregon State and Washington State are joined by Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Gonzaga, San Diego State, Texas State, and Utah State.

Pac-12 Senior VP of External Affairs Dustin Rocke said the renewal "helps ensure that the rich history of our conference, as well as the top-level action of our new member institutions, will continue to reach global audiences."

Ian Retzlaff, VP of Sports Media and Commercial Partnerships at Veritone, said the Pac-12 "understands the massive opportunity this content presents" and cited the goal of driving "new revenue streams" for member institutions.
