Oracle (NYSE: ORCL) announced a new builder experience for Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications on July 14, 2026, enabling customers and partners to create and run agentic applications natively within Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.

The new offering combines no-code, low-code, and pro-code development tools in a single framework. Business users can build applications using natural language inputs, while developers can use Visual Studio Code, command-line interfaces, Git-based workflows, and AI coding assistants such as OpenAI Codex and Claude Code.

According to Oracle, the applications run inside Oracle Fusion Applications and inherit existing security, governance, approval workflows, and audit controls, rather than operating as separate systems that require independent infrastructure.

Oracle said the tool is available at no additional cost to Oracle Fusion Applications customers and partners. It provides access to more than 1,000 existing AI agents delivered through Fusion Applications, as well as 22 Fusion Agentic Applications launched earlier in 2026. A public GitHub repository with templates, starter projects, and reference architectures is planned.

Oracle AI Agent Marketplace, part of AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, is being expanded to include a catalog of agentic applications. Oracle said more than 80,000 certified experts have been trained on the platform.

"Enterprise software is moving beyond systems that record work to systems that actively drive and execute outcomes," said Chris Leone, executive vice president of Applications Development at Oracle. "This is fundamentally different from building disconnected AI automations and then trying to bolt on enterprise controls later."

Partners including Accenture, Deloitte Consulting, and PwC provided statements in support of the announcement, citing enterprise governance and deployment capabilities as key considerations for their clients.

The announcement was made at Oracle's Austin, Texas headquarters.
