Entrée Resources Ltd. (TSX: ETG; OTCQB: ERLFF) has selected Chris Adams to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer, replacing Stephen Scott, who is retiring after more than 10 years with the company.

Adams will assume the role effective July 17, 2026, which is also Scott's last day of employment. Scott will remain available to the company under an Advisory Services Agreement to support the leadership transition.

Adams has served as a non-executive director of Entrée since January 2026. He brings over 35 years of experience in mining finance, including his role as head of Mining Finance for the Americas at Macquarie Group Limited, where he led teams evaluating equity investments and loans to mining development projects and marketed commodity derivatives. He also worked in mining investment banking in Canada and Australia for Macquarie and CIBC. Adams holds a B.Com. from McGill University, an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the CFA designation.

Non-Executive Chair Alan Edwards said in a statement that Adams "quickly emerged as the Board's preferred candidate" following a CEO search, citing his background in mining finance.

Scott, in a statement, said he is "retiring with full confidence that Chris and the rest of the management team will continue to build upon past successes," noting he remains a shareholder of the company.

Entrée Resources holds a carried joint venture interest in a portion of the Oyu Tolgoi copper-gold project in Mongolia. Royal Gold, through its subsidiary International Royalty Corporation, and Rio Tinto are major shareholders, holding approximately 24% and 16% of the company's shares, respectively.
