JFrog platform added to Canada's federal software procurement catalogue

July 13, 2026 9:01 AM

JFrog Ltd. announced that its software supply chain platform is now available for procurement through the Government of Canada's Software Licensing Supply Arrangement (SLSA) Catalogue, via Ottawa-based reseller Data Centre Intelligence (DCI).

The listing gives Canadian federal departments and Crown corporation buyers access to the JFrog platform under pre-negotiated terms and pricing ceilings, bypassing lengthier full procurement cycles. DCI, founded in 2012, specializes in public sector technology procurement.

"With software supply chain security and governance becoming an increasing focus for federal departments navigating AI adoption, SBOM requirements, and automated decision-making directives, this listing puts the JFrog Platform on the approved path for the teams that need it most," said Rafael Santiago, SVP Global Sales at JFrog.

The announcement comes as Canadian federal agencies face several converging regulatory requirements. The federal AI Strategy for 2025–2027 sets transparency and governance expectations for departments using AI tools. The Treasury Board's amended Directive on Automated Decision-Making requires federal institutions to demonstrate governance over automated systems by June 2026. In September 2025, the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security joined 19 international partners in publishing guidance encouraging organizations to adopt Software Bills of Materials (SBOMs).

According to JFrog's 2026 Software Supply Chain Security State of the Union report, more than 48,000 new common vulnerabilities and exposures were disclosed in 2025, a 20% year-over-year increase.

The JFrog platform includes tools for binary artifact management, vulnerability scanning, open-source component screening, AI model governance, policy enforcement, and SBOM generation. It can be deployed on-premises, in the cloud, or in hybrid environments.

JFrog (NASDAQ: FROG) is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California.
