Resideo Technologies (NYSE: REZI) held an investor day at the New York Stock Exchange on July 13, outlining a medium-term financial framework ahead of its planned spin-off of ADI Global Distribution.

The company set a revenue compound annual growth rate target of 4% to 5% from 2025 through 2030. It also targets gross margin expansion of approximately 400 basis points over the same period, reaching a range of 43% to 45% by the end of 2030. Adjusted EBITDA margin expansion of approximately 400 basis points is also targeted, with a goal of reaching 23% to 25% by the end of 2030.

Resideo said it has recorded 12 consecutive quarters of gross margin expansion and free cash flow conversion above 85% in each of the last three years.

Tom Surran, incoming President and Chief Executive Officer, said the company will focus on "creating value within our core residential sensing and controls business" following the separation.

The company cited a serviceable addressable market exceeding $40 billion, an installed base of over 150 million locations, and relationships with more than 100,000 professional installers globally. It said more than 15 million installations are completed annually through its professional network.

The spin-off of ADI Global Distribution is expected to be completed on August 3, 2026. ADI common stock is expected to begin regular-way trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol "ADIG" on August 4, 2026, subject to satisfaction or waiver of conditions precedent to the transaction. The spin-off is expected to be tax-free to Resideo shareholders for U.S. federal income tax purposes, except for any cash received in lieu of fractional shares.
