Axon adds two independent directors to its board
Axon Enterprise (NASDAQ: AXON) appointed Vivek Mohindra and Eiso Kant to its Board of Directors on July 8, 2026, each filling an existing vacancy with an initial term expiring at the company's 2027 annual meeting of stockholders.
Mohindra, 57, most recently held senior leadership roles at Dell Technologies, including Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer from June 2023 to July 2025. He previously worked at McKinsey & Company, TPG Capital, and Freescale Semiconductor. He has been appointed to serve on Axon's Audit Committee and Compensation Committee.
Kant, 35, is co-founder and co-Chief Executive Officer of poolside, an AI foundation model company, and co-founder and President of Poolside Infrastructure Company. He previously founded Athenian and source{d}, both software companies. Kant will serve as a non-voting observer on the Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Structure Committee.
Both directors will receive an initial restricted stock unit award valued at $260,000, vesting in equal installments over three years, along with annual restricted stock unit awards of $260,000 and annual cash compensation of $40,000. Mohindra will receive additional annual cash retainers of $10,000 for Audit Committee service and $7,500 for Compensation Committee service. The compensation is consistent with Axon's existing board compensation program.
