SEALSQ and Quobly sign $5M deal for quantum computing security

SEALSQ Corp (NASDAQ: LAES) and Quobly have signed a $5 million commercial agreement under which Quobly will integrate SEALSQ's post-quantum security technologies into its silicon-based quantum computing platform, the companies announced July 10, 2026.

The agreement follows a strategic collaboration the two companies announced in November 2025 and comes after SEALSQ made a strategic investment in Quobly. Quobly raised a €115 million Series A financing round in June 2026, led by Bpifrance, STMicroelectronics and SEALSQ.

Under the terms of the agreement, SEALSQ will supply Quobly with post-quantum secure semiconductor architectures, hardware-based Root-of-Trust technologies, quantum-resistant cryptographic solutions, secure identity and authentication technologies, quantum-resistant PKI, and engineering and integration services.

Quobly's first quantum computer, called Alloy Pioneer, is expected to be available through cloud environments by the end of 2026. The company develops silicon spin qubit processors using CMOS-compatible semiconductor manufacturing processes and is headquartered in Grenoble, France.

Carlos Moreira, founder and CEO of SEALSQ, said the agreement "represents an important milestone in the execution of SEALSQ's quantum strategy and demonstrates the growing commercial demand for post-quantum semiconductor technologies."

Maud Vinet, co-founder and CEO of Quobly, said the agreement "strengthens our technology roadmap by integrating advanced post-quantum security capabilities into our silicon quantum computing computer."

The companies stated the agreement supports the development of a European quantum computing ecosystem and targets markets including government infrastructure, defense, financial services, and quantum data centers.
