Brookdale Senior Living Inc. (NYSE: BKD) reported its occupancy figures for June 2026, showing year-over-year and sequential gains across consolidated and same-community metrics.

Second quarter consolidated weighted average occupancy rose 230 basis points year-over-year to 82.4%, while growing 30 basis points sequentially from the first quarter.

For June specifically, consolidated weighted average occupancy reached 82.5%, up 200 basis points from June 2025 and 20 basis points from the prior month. Same-community weighted average occupancy came in at 83.0%, reflecting a 90 basis point year-over-year improvement and a 10 basis point sequential gain. Month-end same-community occupancy grew 30 basis points sequentially, supported by June recording the highest monthly net move-ins of 2026 so far.

Brookdale, headquartered in Brentwood, Tenn., operates 541 senior living communities across 41 states with capacity for approximately 46,000 residents as of June 30, 2026.
