Arch Insurance North America, a unit of Arch Capital Group Ltd. (Nasdaq: ACGL), announced the launch of a U.S.-based transactional liability team, expanding its existing transactional risk insurance operations.

The new team will initially focus on Representations & Warranties and Tax coverage products. William Carson, who joined Arch from Everest where he served as Head of Transactional Risk, North America, will lead the team with the title of Senior Vice President, Transactional Risk. He will report to Chris Christon, Senior Vice President, Executive Assurance.

According to the company, Arch has participated in the transactional risk market for more than 15 years through managing general agent and managing general underwriter partners across North America, Bermuda, and the United Kingdom. The new U.S. direct platform is intended to complement that existing distribution model.

Anne Hardner, Executive Vice President, Executive Assurance for Arch Insurance, said the multi-channel approach is designed to expand capabilities and strengthen market presence while continuing to support existing MGA and MGU partners.

Arch Capital Group Ltd. reported approximately $26.9 billion in capital as of March 31, 2026, and is a component of the S&P 500 Index.
