July 9, 2026 8:32 AM

CleanCore Solutions, Inc. (NYSE American: ZONE) announced it has closed a transaction for a 200-megawatt data center campus in West Texas, in partnership with HST Technologies, Inc. CleanCore will own more than 95% of the project, with HST serving as the development platform provider.

The company plans to fund the initial 200-megawatt phase between now and 2029, with $100 million expected to be deployed by the first quarter of 2027. The project has the potential to expand to more than 500 megawatts by 2030. CleanCore said it expects the financial performance of the project to be in line with market comparables.

Alongside the announcement, CleanCore named Tyler Hassen as Chief Executive Officer. Alex Spiro will continue as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

"Closing our first data center project within weeks of signing our initial LOI reinforces the pace at which we're executing our strategy," Hassen said. "We look forward to announcing upcoming projects in the coming weeks."

According to the press release, CleanCore is transitioning from its prior cleaning products business toward AI and data center infrastructure development. The company acknowledged in its forward-looking disclosures that it has limited operating history in the data center industry and that conditions raise substantial doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern.
