Rank One Computing Corporation (Nasdaq: ROC), known as ROC, announced that its ROC Watch platform received a Developmental Testing and Evaluation (DT&E) Designation under the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Support Anti-terrorism by Fostering Effective Technologies (SAFETY) Act, confirmed on July 1, 2026.

The designation identifies ROC Watch as a qualified anti-terrorism technology undergoing continued testing and evaluation. Under the SAFETY Act, the DT&E Designation provides federal liability protections for ROC and organizations that deploy ROC Watch in the event of an act of terrorism.

ROC Watch is an AI-enabled video analytics platform used for threat detection, alerts management, and post-event investigations across live and recorded video. The platform uses Vision AI models for face recognition, person detection, gun detection, vehicle detection, and automatic license plate recognition.

"The SAFETY Act DT&E Designation is an important milestone for ROC Watch and the organizations that rely on the platform to help protect people and critical infrastructure," said B. The company, headquartered in Denver, Colo., said the designation applies to government agencies, critical infrastructure operators, schools, and other organizations evaluating and procuring public safety technologies. ROC also has offices in Grand Rapids, Mich., and Morgantown, W.V.
