RH CEO Gary Friedman sells 125,000 shares to cover personal expenses
RH (NYSE: RH) Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Gary Friedman sold 125,000 shares of RH common stock between July 6 and July 8, 2026, according to a company press release.
Friedman stated the shares were sold to fund improvements to personal residences and to repay balances under personal line of credit borrowings.
Following the sale, Friedman retains beneficial ownership of 4,926,337 shares, representing approximately 23.88% of RH's common stock, based on 18,926,221 shares outstanding.
Friedman's previous share sales occurred in 2022, when he sold stock to cover the exercise price of expiring stock options and related tax obligations, and in December 2019 and 2013. He has made open market share purchases on seven occasions between September 2014 and June 2024.
Friedman stated: "I have been a buyer of RH shares for a significant period of time and have sold shares now solely to satisfy certain financial obligations. My shares continue to represent the largest ownership position in RH and the vast majority of my net worth, reflecting my continued commitment to RH and confidence in the Company's strategy and growth prospects."
A Form 4 and Schedule 13D/A will be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with the transaction.
