NAPCO Security Technologies names Kevin Buchel as new CEO
NAPCO Security Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: NSSC) announced a leadership transition effective July 8, 2026, in which Kevin Buchel will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer and President, replacing Richard Soloway, who founded the company more than 55 years ago.
Soloway will transition to the role of Founder and Executive Chairman, retaining his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors. In that capacity, he will focus on strategic initiatives, product innovation, and industry relationships.
Buchel has held various management positions at the Amityville, New York-based company for more than 25 years, most recently serving as President and Chief Operating Officer, a role he was appointed to two years ago. As CEO, he will oversee day-to-day operations, business strategy execution, marketing and sales plans, and financial management.
"It has been a tremendous privilege to serve as Chief Executive Officer of NAPCO," Soloway said. "I look forward to continuing to collaborate with Kevin in our new roles."
Buchel stated he is "very excited and honored for this opportunity to lead the NAPCO team" and expressed commitment to driving revenue growth and sustained profitability.
