AeroVironment sets FY27 revenue guidance and FY30 financial targets
AeroVironment (NASDAQ: AVAV) has released its fiscal year 2027 financial guidance and fiscal year 2030 long-term targets, according to a company statement.
The defense technology company reported approximately $2.0 billion in revenue for fiscal year 2026, with an adjusted EBITDA margin of 14.5% and research and development spending at 6% of revenue.
For fiscal year 2027, AeroVironment guided for revenue in the range of $2.125 billion to $2.225 billion, representing approximately 10% year-over-year growth at the midpoint. The company projected adjusted EBITDA of $305 million to $325 million, which would maintain a 14.5% margin at the midpoint. R&D investment is expected to increase to 7% to 9% of revenue.
By fiscal year 2030, AeroVironment targets organic revenue growth of 15% to 20%, which the company said would approximately double its revenue from current levels. The adjusted EBITDA margin target is set at 18% to 20%, representing an expansion of 350 to 550 basis points from the fiscal year 2026 level. R&D investment is projected to remain at 7% to 9% of revenue through 2030.
