T-Mobile (NASDAQ: TMUS) announced that Chris Sambar will join the company as Chief Enterprise Officer, effective no later than October 14, 2026, reporting to CEO Srini Gopalan.

Sambar joins from Public Storage, where he currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. He previously spent two decades at AT&T, where he held roles including President of Network, and was involved in building AT&T's 5G mobile network and leading the design and deployment of the FirstNet public safety network. He holds an MBA from the University of Southern California, is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, and served more than 20 years in the U.S. Navy.

In his new role, Sambar will lead T-Mobile's small and medium business, enterprise, and government segments, as well as emerging growth areas the company identified as T-Ads and Physical AI.

T-Mobile also announced that André Almeida, previously Chief Broadband, Enterprise and Emerging Business Officer, has been appointed Chief Marketing, Brand and Broadband Officer. Almeida will work alongside Chief Operating Officer Jon Freier overseeing consumer wireless and broadband businesses.

The company's network, technology, product engineering, and cybersecurity functions will be consolidated under Chief Technology Officer Dr. John Saw.

Separately, T-Mobile said Mike Katz, its Chief Business and Product Officer, is leaving the company to pursue other professional interests. Katz, who has been with T-Mobile for more than 20 years, will remain in a strategic advisory capacity through December 2026.

"Chris is a seasoned wireless industry leader with proven experience including expanding high-growth businesses and seizing market opportunities," Gopalan said in the statement.
