Vishay launches four 40 V MOSFETs for motor control circuits

July 7, 2026 11:00 AM

Vishay Intertechnology (NYSE: VSH) introduced four 40 V TrenchFET Gen IV standard-level n-channel power MOSFETs designed for motor control applications, according to a company press release dated July 7, 2026.

The four devices — SIR5402DP, SIR5404DP, SIR5406DP, and SIR5408DP — are housed in a 6.15 mm by 5.15 mm PowerPAK SO-8 single package. Each device carries a minimum gate-source threshold voltage greater than 2.5 V and Qgd/Qgs ratios below 1, ranging from 0.69 to 0.75 across the four models.

The devices offer typical on-resistance values at 10 V ranging from 0.9 mΩ to 2.5 mΩ, and gate charge values from 32.6 nC to 82 nC. All four MOSFETs are 100% RG- and UIS-tested, RoHS-compliant, and halogen-free.

Vishay states the devices are intended for use in synchronous rectification and DC/DC conversion in brushless DC motors, power tools, drones, and automation systems.

Samples and production quantities are available, with a lead time of 13 weeks.
