The hires come as NextTrip consolidates its JOURNY TV and GoUSA TV platforms and expands internationally through a joint venture with KC Global Media, which the company said is expected to broaden JOURNY's distribution across Southeast Asia and other markets.
Kevin Dailey joins as Sr. Director of Travel and Tourism Sales, with prior experience at Questex, Booking.com, Cover Genius, Fora Travel, and The Wall Street Journal. James Moore joins as Strategic Sales Advisor, following nearly 13 years at TripAdvisor and subsequent roles at Sojern and Navigator.
The team will focus on advertising revenue, sponsorships, destination marketing, branded content, and enterprise partnerships across NextTrip's media properties, which include JOURNY TV and TravelMagazine.com.
"Our media business has reached an exciting inflection point," said Bill Kerby, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of NextTrip. "It was the right time to build a world-class commercial organization capable of monetizing these assets."
