July 7, 2026 9:01 AM

Onconetix, Inc. (NASDAQ: ONCO) has highlighted a partnership between Realbotix Corp. and Bloom Procurement Services to deploy humanoid robots in care settings across Northeast England, according to a press release issued July 7, 2026.

Realbotix, the target of a pending acquisition by Onconetix, announced the pilot program aimed at reducing social isolation and improving wellbeing among elderly residents. The robots are designed to provide companionship, cognitive stimulation, emotional support, and routine wellbeing check-ins. The program is intended to supplement human caregivers rather than replace them.

The pilot will measure resident engagement, cognitive health indicators, staff feedback, and overall impact on loneliness and quality of life.

Realbotix has been accredited as a supplier on Bloom's public sector marketplace, providing a procurement pathway for UK public sector organizations to access Realbotix technology. Bloom specializes in public sector procurement services.

Onconetix announced on February 12, 2026, that it had entered into a definitive share exchange agreement to acquire 100% of the equity interests of Realbotix LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Realbotix Corp. (TSX-V: XBOT), in an all-stock transaction. The combined company is expected to trade on Nasdaq following closing, which is anticipated in the second half of 2026, subject to Onconetix shareholder approval, regulatory approvals, and other closing conditions.

Onconetix is currently a commercial-stage biotechnology company focused on oncology solutions, including Proclarix, a diagnostic test for prostate cancer approved for sale in the European Union.
