The Glimpse Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: GGRP) has sold Glimpse Learning, LLC, which the company described as a non-core legacy asset, as part of a broader strategic shift toward physical AI infrastructure.

The Ashburn, Virginia-based company said it will concentrate resources on its subsidiary Brightline Interactive and its SpatialCore platform, which is designed to give autonomous systems such as drones, robotics, and autonomous vehicles a shared, real-time understanding of the physical world.

The divestment follows steps taken earlier this year, including the appointment of Tyler Gates as chief executive officer, the formation of a new board chaired by retired Admiral Scott Swift, and a $1.85 million capital infusion.

According to the company, traditional methods for integrating autonomous systems can require close to a year of development time, while SpatialCore is designed to reduce that timeline to several weeks. The platform was developed in partnership with the U.S. Navy and is currently used in live operations. Brightline holds Cooperative Research and Development Agreements with both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army.

"Our strategic focus as a company is pointed at a key opportunity: giving autonomous systems a shared, governed understanding of the physical world they operate in," Gates said in a statement, adding that the company's strategy is focused on expanding within the Department of War, forming OEM partnerships within the defense-industrial base, and addressing the commercial autonomy market.

SpatialCore is built on open data standards supported by Nvidia, Apple, and major robotics and simulation platforms, according to the company.
