Paysafe expands partnership with Tebex for video game payments
Paysafe (NYSE: PSFE) has expanded its partnership with Tebex, a game monetization platform for game servers and studios, integrating the Paysafe Gateway into the Tebex Checkout to provide card payments and multiple alternative payment methods (APMs).
Tebex had featured Paysafe's prepaid eCash product PaysafeCard since 2016. Through a single integration with the Paysafe API, Tebex now has access to Paysafe's broader range of payment solutions, including credit and debit card processing.
The Tebex Checkout is already live with Paysafe's Openbucks solution, an APM that allows U.S. users to pay online using cash via third-party gift cards purchasable at more than 67,000 retail locations, or through Openbucks' own digital card available via authorized online resellers.
Zak Cutler, President of Global Gaming at Paysafe, said: "By connecting the Tebex Checkout to an exhaustive range of payment options, including recognizable brands like our Openbucks solution, the Paysafe Gateway will give Tebex and its customers an edge when it comes to streamlining, simplifying and ultimately optimizing the monetization of gaming."
Liam Wiltshire, Vice President and GM of Tebex, said: "Expanding our partnership with Paysafe allows Tebex to offer greater choice and flexibility at checkout, helping our partners reach more players, reduce friction, and unlock new opportunities for growth."
Paysafe reported an annualized transaction volume of $167 billion in 2025 and employs approximately 2,800 people across 12 countries. Tebex, a division of Overwolf, has processed more than $1.5 billion across its platform.
