TD Bank U.S. names Jill Gateman as head of commercial banking
TD Bank U.S. has appointed Jill Gateman as Head of U.S. Commercial Banking, according to a company statement. The bank is consolidating its Corporate, Commercial, Small Business, and Regional Banking segments under her leadership.
In her new role, Gateman will oversee the delivery of products and client coverage across TD's commercial banking platform. Her responsibilities will span corporate and regional commercial banking, small business, sponsor and specialty finance, treasury management, government banking, middle market banking, asset-based lending, franchise finance, institutional commercial real estate, healthcare lending, municipal and not-for-profit banking, equipment finance, and commercial credit management and operations.
Gateman previously held roles within TD's Commercial Banking franchise, where she worked on client solutions, core business development, and AI-enabled tools. She also worked on expanding collaboration between Commercial Banking and TD Securities.
