AVAX One names Pete Wylie interim CEO after Jolie Kahn resignation
AVAX One Technology Ltd. (Nasdaq: AVX) announced that Jolie Kahn has resigned as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, with the company's Chief Operating Officer, Pete Wylie, appointed as interim CEO while retaining his COO role.
The board of directors has retained executive search firm ZRG Partners to conduct a search for a permanent CEO successor. The company stated that Kahn's departure was not the result of any disagreement regarding the company's operations, policies, or practices.
Matt Zhang, chairman of the board, said in a statement: "We have full confidence in Pete's ability to lead the Company through this transition, and the Board remains committed to a thorough process to identify our next permanent CEO."
Wylie previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Napster Holdings Inc. through its 2025 acquisition by Infinite Reality, and as CFO and COO of consumer lender CommonBond. He also co-founded consumer financial technology company Gradible, which was acquired by CommonBond in 2016.
AVAX One describes itself as a digital infrastructure company that builds modular data centers and mines Bitcoin in Alberta and Ohio at approximately 300 PH/s. The company is based in West Palm Beach, Florida.
