Aurora Mobile's JPush adopted by Pobo Financial for push notifications
Aurora Mobile Limited (NASDAQ: JG) announced a partnership with Pobo Financial Information Co., Ltd. to deploy its JPush push notification service across Pobo Financial's mobile applications, according to a company press release.
Pobo Financial, founded in 2004, provides information technology services for the financial derivatives market. Its flagship product, Boyi Master, serves the futures, options, and derivatives software sectors. The company selected JPush to upgrade its existing message delivery architecture for its mobile applications.
The integration addresses technical challenges specific to financial derivatives applications, including delivering time-sensitive alerts during night trading sessions when mobile devices are idle, and managing high volumes of concurrent push notifications during major economic data releases or volatile market conditions.
JPush supports Android, iOS, and HarmonyOS platforms and connects to manufacturer-level push channels from Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo, Meizu, ASUS, and NIO Phone, alongside Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification Service. Aurora Mobile states this system-level integration helps maintain notification delivery when apps are restricted by background power-saving mechanisms.
Aurora Mobile says that since adopting JPush, Pobo Financial's applications have seen improvements in message delivery success rates and timeliness, particularly during night trading sessions and periods of market volatility. The two companies also implemented measures to support secure data transmission in line with Chinese regulations on personal information protection and data security in the securities and futures industry.
Aurora Mobile noted in the release that actual push notification delivery may be affected by device status, network conditions, operating system mechanisms, and user settings, and that the described capabilities do not constitute a guaranteed delivery commitment.
