Quantum Cyber N.V. (Nasdaq: QUCY) announced the introduction of the PHANTOM-950, a long-range autonomous unmanned aerial system it is developing, according to a company press release. The platform remains in the design stage, with no prototype built or tested.

The company describes the PHANTOM-950 as a modular aircraft intended to support government and defense customers across logistics, surveillance, communications relay, electronic warfare, and humanitarian missions. Internal design specifications target a range of up to 950 kilometers, an operating altitude of up to 18,000 meters, and a payload capacity of up to 10 kilograms. The platform is being designed around a blended-wing airframe and a multi-stage propulsion system.

Quantum Cyber stated that the specifications reflect internal design targets that have not been independently validated and may differ materially from the performance of any aircraft ultimately produced. The company has not entered into any customer contracts for the platform.

The company said it intends to manufacture the PHANTOM-950 through domestic operations, contingent on completing a previously announced manufacturing facility acquisition and production build-out. That acquisition has not yet been completed.

"Our objective is to develop modular systems capable of supporting a wide variety of government and commercial missions while leveraging the manufacturing capabilities we are building in the United States," said David Lazar, Chief Executive Officer of Quantum Cyber.
