Metropolitan Commercial Bank names Jason Bishop head of CRE lending
Metropolitan Commercial Bank (NYSE: MCB) has appointed Jason Bishop as Group Head of Commercial Real Estate Lending, according to a press release from the New York City-based bank.
Bishop brings more than 23 years of commercial real estate banking experience, with a background spanning multifamily, industrial, hospitality, and medical office properties. In his new role, he will oversee business development, portfolio growth, and strategic lending initiatives within MCB's commercial real estate division.
Prior to joining MCB, Bishop served as Vice President in the Commercial Real Estate Relationship department at TD Bank, where he managed a portfolio exceeding $2 billion and led business development efforts across the New York tri-state region.
Scott Lublin, Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer at MCB, said in the statement: "His leadership will further enhance our ability to provide sophisticated commercial real estate financing solutions while supporting the Bank's continued growth."
Bishop holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting with a minor in International Business from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
