Wallbox raises ~€15.8M through equity and new investor
Wallbox N.V. (NYSE: WBX) has completed an approximately €11.8 million equity raise and secured a separate €4 million investment from FOCUS ON NEXT FRONTIER (FOCUS), the investment vehicle of Rafael Ruiz, according to a company press release.
The €11.8 million equity raise includes the previously announced €10.65 million equity financing, along with approximately €1.1 million from the capitalization of original issue discount and paid-in-kind interest accrued under a bridge loan entered in April 2026. The raise involved participation from Wallbox's existing reference shareholders and a €5 million investment by the Generalitat de Catalunya through IFEM.
FOCUS completed its €4 million investment as a new Wallbox shareholder in a separate transaction. The company described the investment as part of FOCUS's broader strategy in high-technology industrial holdings.
The transactions mark the completion of conditions required for Wallbox's financial restructuring plan to take effect. Court approval of the restructuring plan is now final following the expiration of objection and appeal periods without any challenges filed.
"We are delighted to welcome FOCUS, the investment company of Rafael Ruiz, as a new shareholder in Wallbox and are grateful for the confidence he has placed in our company," said Enric Asunción, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Wallbox.
Wallbox is headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, and offers electric vehicle charging and energy management solutions in more than 100 countries.
