Williams adds two independent directors to its board, effective July 2026
Williams (NYSE: WMB) has appointed Lloyd W. "Billy" Helms, Jr. and Robb E. Turner as independent directors to its board, effective July 1, 2026, according to a company statement.
Helms brings more than 40 years of oil and gas industry experience. He most recently served as president of EOG Resources from October 2021 to May 2024, and as chief operating officer from December 2017 to December 2023. He currently sits on the SM Energy board of directors, where he chairs the Operations and EHS Committee.
Turner has more than 35 years of experience in energy operations, corporate finance, and public and private equity and debt investment. He currently serves as chairman of The Madava Group and Revenant Energy. Turner co-founded ArcLight Capital Partners in 2001, where the firm raised six funds and invested more than $17 billion in private equity across the energy sector. He previously served as chairman of Crowheart Energy prior to its sale to Williams.
With the two appointments, the Williams board now consists of 12 members, 11 of whom are independent.
